Before you Buy

The questions we hear most — answered straight.

Grass-fed whey protein chocolate tub by The Health Improvers
What's the difference between whey concentrate and isolate?
Both are whey proteins. Isolate undergoes further filtration and generally contains a higher proportion of protein, with less fat, carbohydrate and lactose. This formula uses both concentrate and isolate; the finished powder provides 22g protein per serving and 73.3g per 100g.
Where does the milk come from?
The supplier specification states that the milk comes from grass-fed cows in Britain and the EU. Whey is milk-derived, and the product contains milk and soy; full allergen information is under Ingredients.
Is this suitable for vegetarians?
Yes — it's suitable for vegetarians and Halal certified. It is not suitable for vegans, as whey is derived from milk. Contains milk and soy (soy lecithin, in the isolate). If you want a plant protein, our pea, rice and hemp powders are all vegan.
Can I use it in porridge or baking?
Yes. It can be stirred into porridge, blended into smoothies or used in baking. The ingredients include cocoa powder as well as flavouring, and the formula has no added sugar; its 1g of sugars per serving occurs naturally in the milk.
