Different bacterial species naturally occur in different parts of the digestive tract — Lactobacillus species are more associated with the small intestine, Bifidobacterium species with the colon. This formula includes four Lactobacillus, three Bifidobacterium and one Streptococcus strain. We've chosen a broad strain list rather than a single strain, and we name every one so you can see exactly what you're getting.
